Photographer John Spink: Joe Rich had a very cheery disposition when he first came out of the community on his boat. We chatted about him and his house for a while, then he took a moment to compose himself and showed the fatigue from the last day of trying to protect his home. Joe Rich moved to Paces Manor 2.5 years ago. Tuesday he was trapped at his house with no way out but a boat. He has been ferrying various things back and forth and is surprised he still has power.
