The stories behind the AJC flood photos
Photographer Phil Skinner: There was a low cloud cover as I flew with the WSB-TV helicopter crew Tuesday morning, but just as we spotted these flooded homes in Austell the sun broke out. I was amazed that the water in the neighborhood was up to the second floor of so many homes. The sun illuminated the houses and their reflections on the dark brown muddy water.
